Breaking the myth #no14: I don't need carbohydrates.

Updated: Sep 11, 2022

Wrong! Unfortunately, the new trend in fitness industry claims that you don't need carbohydrates if you want to lose weight, to feel stronger, to be in perfect shape and form.

The truth is that carbohydrates is the main source of human's energy, our main fuel.

If you notice the scale going up after you've eaten more quantity of carbohydrates than usual, is because of the water retain (carbo-HYDRATE), not because you've actually gained fat.

Limitation of carbohydrates or even worse, permanent avoidance may lead to:

- Headache

- Constipation

- Hair loss

- Muscle cramps

- Sudden irritation

- Sudden weakness

- Food cravings.

Next time you'll think of drastic changes, by limiting carbohydrates, I suggest you to avoid trans fat, junk food and sugar. Soon, you'll see that a dish of pasta or some fruits won't have a negative impact on you.
