There is a myth around bananas. We tend to believe that if we eat a banana we will get fat or at least that bananas are more fattening compared to other fruits.
But what is really true?
It's time to get the banana off the blacklist. The truth is that bananas, in fact, have more sugar compared to other fruits, but still have 75% water (as every other fruit). This makes it low in calories, ie. 1 medium banana has 105 calories.
100 grams of chocolate has the calories of 5 bananas together. How easy is it for someone to consume 1 chocolate a day and how easy is it to consume 5 bananas?
In conclusion, neither bananas nor any other fruit makes us fat and their beneficial effects are particularly remarkable for all of us.
