Feeling bloated? What are the causes?

If you belong to the group of people who suffer from abdominal bloating, but you do not know the reason and treatment for it, you will find this article quite helpful.

Wondering if it's the oil, the white grains, the caffeine or the products rich in artificial sweeteners?

What would you think, if I told you that sugar-free products (but rich in artificial sweeteners) are the ones that cause the biggest bloating?

Various studies have shown that the consumption of "sugar free" products are rich in sweetening substances, such as mannitol, sorbitol, xylitol, etc.

Their impact is to negatively affect the colon microbiome.

When the colon microbiome is affected, we feel bloated and pain, lasting up to 12 hours.

Other conditions that cause abdominal bloating are:

  • lactose intolerance

  • gluten intolerance (celiac disease)

  • the disturbed intestinal flora, where the "bad" bacteria prevail over the "good" ones

  • stomach/intestinal disorders (Crohn's disease, irritable bowel)

  • constipation

  • foods that naturally cause bloating such as: garlic, onion, cabbage, legumes, raw vegetables or vegetables with seeds

  • alcohol.

According to the instructions above, make the necessary changes or tests and if you need more help, I will be more than happy to contact me.
