Pasta has a certain amount of calories. These calories will not change if you eat them for lunch or for dinner. You can have pasta no matter the time of the day. Nutritionists recommend to eat pasta for lunch because carbohydrates give energy and we need more energy during the day until bedtime. If you eat it for dinner you'll get more energy than you need (and you won't be able to "waste" this energy= you won't burn these calories). In conclusion, whether we choose to eat pasta for lunch or dinner, the calories remain the same. The difference is the needs that our body have. Tania L.
