Your metabolism is always working. It is not a button that you push to switch it on or off.
With simple words, our metabolism is the amount of calories that we burn. If you want to boost your metabolism, you will have to burn more calories. On the other hand, if you want to slow down your metabolism, you will have to burn less calories than you consume.
Next time you will hear or read "you will have to drink lemon water to boost your metabolism" or "you will have to add some chili to your food to boost your metabolism" or "take the specific fat burner and you will boost your metabolism", remember that none of the above supports any studies.
