No! Too much water can have the exact opposite results for your heath.
It can affect your kidneys as they can't get rid of the excess water. The sodium content of your blood becomes diluted. This is called hyponatremia and it can be life-threatening.
"How much water should I drink?" is the most common question.
Answering, the average amount for men is 3,7 litters daily and 2,7 litters for women. This can differ when someone exercises (sweat) ,according to the environment conditions (hot or humid weather), pregnancy, overall health (when someone is sick).
"How should I know if I drink enough, less or too much water?"
You'll have to notice the colour of your urine when you go to the toilet and you'll have to recognize if you feel thirsty or not. Sometimes, we even feel hungry because we are thirsty.
